Requirements

Your future role:
As a Service Engineer (f/m/d) you will assist our customer support in the area of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) including our Managed Services offerings. You will support our customers in the integration, configuration, and operation of PKI solutions from the achelos portfolio, process fault reports and carry out routine checks of existing systems.

Your tasks include:

  • Assist our support and managed services team
  • Process fault reports from achelos customers via Issue Tracking System, email or phone
  • Resolve fault reports, in close cooperation with our product development team
  • Technical support for our Sales at customer meetings

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in business informatics, computer science, mathematics or comparable training
  • Enthusiasm (and experience, if applicable) in customer support or technical customer service.
  • Experience with ticketing and issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, OTRS)
  • Experience with at least Unix/ Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English
  • Ability to familiarise yourself with complex IT systems
  • Interest for new challenges and subjects
  • Very good communication skills
  • Willingness to be available on call and occasional travel (DACH region)

The following are considered beneficial:

  • Willingness to be on call to actively support the achelos 24x7 support team
  • Experience in the area of Public Key Infrastructure (TSP, RA, CA, OCSP, CRL, Archival services, TSL, Timestamping)
  • Fundamental knowledge of network protocols and services
  • Experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl) and REST-based WEB services
  • Experience working with versioning tools (e.g. Git)
  • Experience in the area of hardware security modules (HSM)
  • Experience with products from e.g. Utimaco, Entrust, Keyfactor and MTG.
  • Experience in working with distributed systems (such as cloud solutions from well-known manufacturers)
